How to Convert a Fraction to a Decimal

Divide the numerator by the denominator. If the division ends (remainder reaches 0), it's a terminating decimal. If the remainder repeats, it's a repeating decimal.

Examples: 1/4 = 0.25 (terminating)  |  1/3 = 0.333... (repeating)  |  7/8 = 0.875 (terminating)
